Emerald Auction Centre's October 2026 Multi-Vendor Auction is the second Emerald sale listed on Asset Scanner, after the 938-lot August auction: 396 lots spanning earthmoving, prime movers, trailers, farm machinery, utes, site accommodation and workshop plant. It runs entirely online. Bidding opens at 7:00am AEST on Friday 9 October and lots start closing at 9:00am AEST on Monday 12 October in a staggered sequence.

Earthmoving and construction plant
The yellow iron is the headline. Three CAT dozers lead the catalogue: a 2009 CAT D10T, a 1992 CAT D10N and a CAT 834B wheel dozer, with a 1986 D7H XL for smaller jobs. Alongside them sit a 2006 CAT 16H motor grader, a 2021 Hitachi ZW370-5B wheel loader, and two haul trucks: a Komatsu HD785-5 rigid dump truck and a 2010 Hitachi AH400D articulated dump truck.
For access and materials handling there are three 2011 JLG 450AJ articulating boom lifts, a 2011 JLG 4009PS telehandler, a 2025 Bobcat S450 skid steer with very low hours, and two 2026 forklifts including a dual-wheel diesel Apache R520.
Trucks and trailers
Road transport buyers have 17 trucks and 17 trailers to look at. The standouts are a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia prime mover, four Kenworth T908 prime movers from the same fleet, a 2010 Kenworth K108, and a 2007 International 7600 tipper. On the trailer side there is a Moore AB-triple tipper combination, a 2019 Moore tri-axle road train dolly, a water tanker, a dog trailer and a run of plant, box and builders trailers.

Farm machinery
Lot 1 is a 2021 John Deere CP690 cotton picker and Lot 2 a 2015 John Deere S670 combine with a 45ft Case IH front and trailer further down the list. Cropping gear includes a 2021 Horsch Avatar 18.25 SD disc seed drill, a Horsch Joker 8 HD speed tiller, a KMC 8-row strip tiller, a Bogballe fertiliser spreader and a chisel plough. Seven tractors round it out, led by a 2017 John Deere 5093E, two Kubota M9540Ds and a Deutz Agrotron K610.
Utes, vehicles and site gear
Vehicle buyers get a 2018 RAM 2500 Longhorn, a 2015 Ford F250 Lariat, LandCruiser and HiLux utes, Ford Rangers and a 2018 Prado GXL. The rest of the catalogue is the stuff that kits out a site or a workshop: 20ft and 40ft shipping containers, expandable container houses and accommodation modules, ablution blocks, lighting towers, 10,000-litre fuel cells, silenced diesel generators, Lincoln and Miller welders, a 50-tonne workshop press, tyre changers and hose crimpers.
How to bid
- Register with Emerald Auction Centre. A free bidder account on the auctioneer's site is required. Do it before 9 October, as approvals are not instant on sale day.
- Shortlist on Asset Scanner. Browse the full lot list by category, then add the lots you want to your watchlist on Emerald.
- Inspect or ask. Locations and inspection times are on each lot page. If you cannot get there, request extra photos and service history through the auctioneer.
- Set your maximum before the close. Work out the landed cost: hammer price, buyer's premium and transport from the asset's location.
- Watch the staggered close. Lots close in sequence from 9:00am on 12 October, and any bid in the last five minutes extends that lot. The big earthmoving lots usually run past their listed time.
